General Mills | Large Office

This 50,000 square foot office space was designed for General Mills's Meals R&D division, located in the Bell Building. Priorities included promoting the "House of Meals" brand while honoring a myriad of work styles among employees. The former was achieved through corporate art that featured such icons as the Helper hand. Collaboration and collegiality were encouraged through a thoughtful open office with flexible workstations, formal conference rooms, small meeting rooms, and dedicated spaces for impromptu meetings. Other highlights include a product showroom kitchen and a dynamic employee breakroom. This design was the successful result of a group project with members Kylie Edgren, Emily Knippling, and Kelsey Lahr.
